Atlas Flights for everyone
We want anyone to be able to use Atlas Flights, including people who use only a keyboard, a screen reader, large text, or who find reading hard.
What you can do
- Use it with a keyboard only: Tab and Shift+Tab move between things, Enter or Space presses them, Escape closes a pop-up, and the arrow keys move along the holiday pictures. A "Skip to the page" link is the first thing you reach.
- Press Easy read (the Aa button at the top): bigger text, more space between lines and words, no movement, and darker panels behind the words.
- Zoom to 200% or use a phone as narrow as 320 pixels: nothing is cut off and you never scroll sideways to read.
- Pause the moving holiday pictures with the Pause pictures button. If your device is set to reduce motion, nothing moves by itself.
- Use a screen reader: every button and link has a name, pictures that carry meaning are described, and messages such as "Watching" are read out.
How we checked
On 16 October 2026, against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA: by moving through every page with the keyboard only, by checking names, labels and headings with the browser's accessibility tools, by working out text contrast on the glass panels against the brightest photo, and by trying narrow screens and zoom. Automated tests also check parts of this each time Atlas Flights changes.
What is not perfect yet
- When you press a price you go to Aviasales, a different company's website. We cannot change how accessible their pages are.
- The holiday photos are there to set the scene; they are not described one by one.
- We have not yet had the site tested by disabled people using their own assistive technology. We would like to.
